Twisted real structures for spectral triples

Twisted real structures were introduced in 2016 as a generalisation of real structures for spectral triples which permit the definition of conformal rescalings without modifying the 1-forms. In this talk, I will discuss some more recent applications: how twisted real structures can be defined on Riemannian manifolds to implement the so-called ‘second-order condition’, and how the twisted real structure changes the implementation of gauge transformations.
